For the longest time, my favourite coffee of all time was ‘Blvck’ – roasted in the town of ‘Hell’ in Norway. I was enamoured by the natural flavours of blueberry that came through without having anything added. Since I moved to the USA I’ve found it mightily expensive to ship, and it’s not at its best after a trip halfway around the world.
That is where Paddler’s Portage comes in. I discovered it at my local Farmer’s Market in Winona. Not only did it give me that instant hit of the blueberry that I craved, but it comes in a Light Roast which has immediately become my go-to morning cup, and takes the place of my favourite coffee of all time. I genuinely look forward to mornings again now, and I can buy local!
I would not touch a single thing about this roast. I hope to be able to buy it for a long time to come. Cheers!
